A pleasant stay in Paradise!

We spent three nights and three days in La Palapa hotel. I stood on the second floor with a beautiful view of the sea. The best thing about it is that as soon as you head down, the beach is just right there for you. The hotel is also well located, almost in the middle of the island so we could walk through the sea to both ends and walk to the best restaurants and shop areas in the island.

The staff at the hotel recommended us two beautiful spots to see on each side of the island as well as restaurants and bars to go at night. They have a nice rest/coffee/bar that serves the best juices and smoothies ever. Also, their coconut ice cream is fantastic.

And for us, nothing matters the most than being able to drink espresso coffee in the mornings, and they have an excellent espresso machine in the bar. The rooms are simple, equipped with the necessary, but the bed is big and comfy enough.

They have sun blockers, and other sun creams available at the reception and the staff and owner are super friendly with their discover scuba cozumel recommendations. A downside of the whole island is the internet… it’s, and the island has issues accepting Amex. If you want to disconnect, the internet shouldn’t be an issue.

One thing I would’ve loved to have in my room was more sockets to plug the cell phone in the room. They have one in the room and one in the bathroom. I would certainly come back to La Palapa. My pictures attached are from their rest and from their bench seats to the beautiful beach you can enjoy there.

As they were in the middle of redoing the bar, every day brought more and exciting additions to the menu. If the food there wasn’t enough, the vendors walking past on the beach had all kinds of goodies, from cold Coconuts, chips, and my favorite, 6 varieties of hot Empanadas.

Went for 2 nights but on checkout day we decided to add another night, and the staff was super and accommodating. Amazing hotel!
